Circle of Good Foundation
1. Who we are
Circle of Good Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit registered in Mumbai, working on child nutrition and preventive healthcare in rural India. Two programmes run today: Project Roha keeps 250 children across 25 villages at a healthy baseline before malnutrition takes hold, and Project Karasgaon funds the monthly raw-material basket that brings 100 already-malnourished children back.
2. Registrations
| Entity | Circle of Good Foundation, Section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013 |
|---|---|
| CIN | U85499MH2026NPL468353 |
| CSR-1 | CSR00107231, registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to receive CSR funds |
| 80G and 12A | Both granted and in place, provisional under Form 10AC, valid to AY2028-29. The full record, with every registration number and its validity, is published at where your money goes. |
Registration numbers are published in one place on this site so there is a single record to check rather than four copies that can drift. Certificates are available to your finance and legal teams on request.
3. Where this sits in Schedule VII
Squarely inside your mandate. Our work maps directly to Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, the activities permitted for CSR spend, under two clauses:
- Clause (i), eradicating hunger and malnutrition. Direct nutrition support and rehabilitation for at-risk and malnourished children.
- Clause (i), promoting preventive healthcare. Growth monitoring, MUAC tracking and caregiver health engagement.
- Clause (x), rural development. Programmes are rooted in rural India and built with local communities.
4. Unit economics
| All-in cost | ₹2,700 per child, per year |
|---|---|
| Nutrition | ₹2,500 a year, about ₹208 a month, 92% of the total |
| Transport and admin | ₹200 a year, 8% of the total |
Every tier is costed from that single unit, so a budget converts to a child count without a negotiation. Figures move with market prices.
5. What a partnership looks like
| Tier 1, ₹2.7L | Proof Cohort. 100 children for a full year in one village cluster. One impact report, one field visit, named as a supporting partner. |
|---|---|
| Tier 2, ₹5L to ₹10L | Measured Pilot. 185 to 370 children for a full year. Reports at mid-year and year end, a scheduled visit with film and photography for your own reporting. |
| Tier 3, ₹27L and above | Programme Partnership. A full village-cluster programme end to end. Quarterly reports against plan, a named point of contact, visits on your schedule. |
6. Reporting and audit
Every tier reports against the same unit, children covered and rupees deployed, so your board reads one number and can check it. Programme and financial records are open to your finance and legal teams on request, and utilisation reporting is prepared to match your CSR-2 filing cycle rather than ours.
7. How funds move
CSR contributions are received by bank transfer against an invoice and a signed undertaking naming the programme and cohort. Retail donations run through Razorpay, which is a separate rail and never mixed into programme reporting.
